Hi, my name is Sheldon Nesdale.

I have only recently discovered how important a high quality chef knife is to my kitchen at home.

Now, I can’t do without it.

I’m not an awesome cook, I’m just an average one, but I believe I’m entitled to a knife that is the same quality as what the top chefs in New Zealand use.

I think every home in New Zealand should have at least one high quality chef knife. They are safer, they are stronger, they are sharper, and they are easier to use than the old blunt hunk of metal in your cutlery drawer.

So I set up this website to answer some common questions about chef knives and to provide you with the ability to buy chef knives online.

My day job is helping small to medium sized businesses with their marketing, advertising and sales (with a focus on websites, internet strategy and social networking), so you could say I’m a marketing consultant for hire based in Tauranga, New Zealand.

I also specialise in building websites that get results, but my favourite job is analysing businesses and developing marketing plans and strategies that clobber my clients competitors.

I’m an active blogger (I have 5), and I’m skilled in search engine optimisation, Google Adwords and lots of other things. I also read A LOT of business books.

And I also dedicate 20% of my time to building niche websites like this one.
