Shipping and returns

Shipping is free for all orders above $200 New ZealandAustralian orders will have $25 charge.

We charge from $7.99 per transaction regardless of the amount of items you purchase. This means that you pay the same postage whether you purchase one item or numerous items.

All items are usually delivered withing the following timeframe

Auckland 1-2 working days

North island 1-3 working days

South island 2-5 working days

We will be happy to ship your order to another country please contact us to get a quote.

We will notify you if the actual delivery charges are higher than originally estimated, in which case you may cancel the order (or any part of it) prior to delivery and receive a refund (including the applicable delivery charges) in respect of the cancelled order.

If we are not able to supply the products or there is likely to be a delay (e.g. because the product is out of stock or the delivery is to a rural/remote location), we will notify you as soon as is reasonably possible after we become aware of this, in which case you may cancel the order (or any part of it) and you will receive a refund (including the applicable delivery charges) in respect of those products which will not be delivered (if any).

General Return Policy

This return policy applies to all items purchased from Chef Knives.

Before returning any items, please contact us at [email protected]knives.co.nz within 14 days of receipt of the items. Products must be returned in the original packaging (un-damaged), unused and in perfect condition. If knives show any sign of use, sharpening, honing, etc they will not be accepted for return or exchange.

All items on website are unique items and pictures on the website can differ slightly from the actual product so under normal circumstances we don’t exchange or refund knives for minor solely optical reasons.

All items returned are done at the buyer’s expense. The items must be properly packed to prevent damage. Please notify us of the tracking number so we can follow the progress of the parcel.

Please note that we do not replace knives if they have chips in the blade, a broken tip or signs of tarnishing or rust.
